Exploring the role of civil engineers in sustainable infrastructure
In this Tech Talk, Professor Priti Parikh – director of the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at University College London (UCL) and an ICE trustee – outlines the challenges involved in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals, which form the heart of the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. She reveals the results of UCL research into the SDGs that civil engineers can have the greatest impact on, including those related to access to clean water and sanitation services, energy systems and transport.
