Delivering projects to ensure equal benefit
In this Tech Talk, Simone West, an inclusive design advisor at Transport for London (TfL), explains what is meant by inclusive design and how engineers can ensure that everyone in society benefits from, and enjoys using, the infrastructure they deliver. By designing inclusively, barriers that prevent people from using transport networks can be removed, enabling users to participate equally and without stress, increased effort or separation from friends or family.
