The ICE presents awards in several categories. They include:

  • Edmund Hambly Medal (project) for creative design for sustainable development.
  • Brunel Medal (project) for low-carbon solutions in the built environment.
  • Gold Medal (individual) for engineering excellence.
  • Bev Waugh Award (individual) for cultivating a positive team culture and transforming productivity.
  • Tom Barton Award (individual) for improving quality, productivity, safety and sustainability by eliminating errors.
  • Garth Watson Medal (individual) for valued service to the ICE.

  • Chris Binnie Award (individual, project or organisation) for achievements in sustainable water management.

You can nominate people or projects by downloading and completing nomination forms which require citations outlining why the nominees deserve recognition.

Non-members of the ICE may be put up for an award, but all nominations must be endorsed by a member. You may not nominate yourself.
